Done For You

Our Approach

We believe in small business. We believe in helping small businesses become successful by teaching them how to use the best tools for strategic growth.

We love seeing your vision become reality. Our biggest charge is knowing that we can help you take your business to the next level, by simply tweaking what you've been doing and showing you some new tools.  We can teach YOU how to do it, or we can do it for you, whichever works best for you.

Our Mission

Our mission is to eliminate overwhelm in taming the technology of marketing, so taht you can capture prospects, convert leads, and keep connected with current and past clients... and spend your time in your unique ability (doing what you do best!).

Our Story

17 years ago, Nanci and Sony met at a Real Estate Coaching event... immediately they hit it off, becoming fast friends and marketing geeks. Over time, they've been skiing in Winter Park, Golfing at Marianna Butte, Kayaking in Cape Canaveral, SCUBA diving in Akumal Mexico, Utila Honduras, and Key Largo, Florida.

Connecting by a love of art, SCUBA, and community-building, they often discussed "what else" they could do to help small businesses. During the last SCUBA trip to the Florida Keys, a seed was planted about the tools we've discovered that can really make an impact on business.

A month passed, and the idea was there germinating, until we were able to have a discussion with a tech-guru and Voila! Strategic Success Tools was born!  We want to pair some basic tenets of marketing with useful (easy-to use) tools, that won't cost an arm-and-a-leg.

Dr Sonja "Sony" Jackson

It may drive her parents nuts, but "Dr Jackson" prefers to be called Sony.

With parents who valued higher education and travel, Sony took her education seriously, although she wandered the gamut of the Liberal Arts, from Pre-Med to Foreign Languages to Art Studio, Sony earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Polk State College in only 18 months before transferring to the University of South Florida to finish her Bachelor's Degree in another 18 months. (Imagine, graduating from college before being of legal drinking age!) While working as a hotel night auditor and then an accounts payable clerk, she earned her Masters in Business Administration from Florida Southern College. One of her favorite finance professors, Col. Jeff Wiley, served with her father in the Army, teaching strategic planning back in the 60's.

After graduating from FSC, she took a year and managed a wedding gown import business in London, England before returning to the US and her home in Winter Haven, Florida where she settled for several years as the primary Grants Writer, Lobbyist & Adjunct Business Professor at Polk State College.  During her tenure at the college, she served on the boards of both the Florida and National Councils for Resource Development, and was known for writing and having funded 3 of the TRIO programs as well as several state-funded programs that allowed the college to build their health offerings as well as technical programs suited to the Central Florida economy. (This brought millions of dollars to the college and the local economy).

While at the college, it was suggested that she build her resume to prepare her path for becoming a president one day. She was introduced to Rotary, Junior League, asked to teach Intro to Business courses, and was able to pursue her Doctorate in Education. It didn't hurt that the college was going through Accreditation Study and her dissertation topic was "Community College Faculty Satisfaction".

Being only 30 when she acquired the doctorate, she knew she had about 10 years to wait before she'd really be able to pursue a presidency.  So, in the meantime, she joined Dean Jackson & NewInformation, Inc! as the Principle Implementation Officer. They were a good team, as he would come up with an idea, and she'd make it happen.  After 15 years, Sony decided to go out on her own, and has spent the past 4 years coaching Realtors, Wealth Advisors, Investors, Authors, and Coaches.

Sony's excited about joining Nanci in this venture of Marketing and providing tools that will help small business owners set themselves up for success, without breaking their spirits or the bank.

Sony's strengths are in facilitating the planning process, particularly when it comes to the "before" unit of your business... lead generating, connecting and bonding with potential clients/customers. "I love to listen to your vision(s)... brainstorm, then draw the map to getting to your destination, and pointing you in the right direction, perhaps introducing you to the people that will help you find the way."  Let's Chat! Email
